Irvin Rabinowitz was a founding member of the original CPA firm that has expanded into the group of companies that now are under the umbrella of RRB Business Services, LLC. Rick Bernstein provides accounting, tax and consulting services to clients in a variety of industries and professions including retail, wholesale distribution, legal, dental and hospitality. Rick is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) as well as a CPA. He is a member of the National Association of Valuation Analysis (NACVA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA). He has prepared business valuations for estate and gift planning purposes and has been called as an expert witness in civil litigation. Rick is the Firm's liaison with the International Association of Practising Accountants (IAPA). He has served on the United States Chapter of IAPA executive committee and is a past President of the U.S. Chapter. Rick is a graduate of the University of Georgia and currently serves as advisor and mentor to Nu Chapter of Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity at the University. Steven Rothschild is an honors graduate of Babson College, Boston, MA and has a BS degree in accounting and finance. In addition to being a CPA, Steve is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He is the second generation of financial professionals in his family. He started his career at Ernst & Young auditing publicly traded companies. He also worked for Mutual of Omaha’s Medicare division, supervising and performing the Medicare audits of hospitals and outpatients facilities. Steve is a member of the Financial Planners Association and the Health Care Compliance Association. Howard Ginsburg is the Firm's Tax Manager. He has been with RRB since 1989 and has over 20 years of tax experience. Prior to joining RRB, Howard worked for Arthur Andersen and Laventhal & Horwath. His areas of expertise include multi-state, inpatriate and expartriate taxation. He is a member of both the Georgia and New York Societies of CPAs and is a member the American Israel Chamber of Commerce. Bruce Arnold, Director of Assurance Services, graduated with honors from St. John's University, New York in 1975. He joined RRB in 1999 after working for accounting firms in NYC, Long Island and Georgia, serving a variety of clients in the areas of tax, financial statement preparation, accounting and Medicare consulting. He worked for the State of Vermont supervising and performing audits in the Medicaid, Sales and Use Tax and Income Tax Divisions. Edwina Panagopoulos, Director of Client Accounting Services, joined the RRB team in 1997 as a bookkeeper. Prior to moving to the United States, Edwina was in-house accountant with a Mercedes Benz dealership in Johannesburg for ten years. She is a graduate of Progressive College, Zimbabwe in Pittmans Accounting. Today, Edwina provides valuable accounting services to RRB clients in various industries preparing tax returns, financial statements, personal property tax returns and assisting clients with Quickbooks and general bookkeeping issues.
